About Me

My photo
An Indian , settled in Sweden, Stockholm. Something about this place which jus’ does not allow to change my loyalty and move back or migrate! I am an experimental cook and jus’ love travelling. Greece is definately on my suggestion list if you are someone who would just like to sit my crystal clean, bluish blue water and watch the sunset with harmony of timeless greek music…. My blog shows I am lazy, but I shall definately work on it as one of my goal apart from being perfect in Swedish language!!! If you like my blog or have any suggestions to give! Please feel free to drop in a comment!! Keep blogging, keep expressing!!

Chickpeas Patties that you will love!

Ingredients:

  • Canned Chickpeas
  • 1 small boiled potato(optional)
  • 1/2 white of 1 egg(no yellow)
  • Breadcrums 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt(turkish should be better)
  • Corns 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 red onion finely chopped
  • Lemonpepper
  • Red paprika powder 1 spoon(optional)
  • Basil
  • Lemon juice 1/2
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Method (Duration 20-25 min)

In a mixing bowl add in all the ingredients(except breadcrums, egg white and corns) and mix well!
In a food processor put in all the ingredients together until you see a paste and some thickness!
Take it out from the processor in a mixing bowl and put in the breadcrums, egg white and corns and mix well!
Oil your hands a bit, pick a portion of the mixture and make round patties, not too thick!

Heat oil in a non-stick pan to shallow fry the patties. Fry until brown on both sides on medium flame to avoid burning!

Serve with mint sause or sweet chilli sause!

Enjoy!
